Friary Furnishings was founded by Derek Fagg in 1979 after his fifth and final year of his upholstery training in Gerrards Cross. After being guided into the furniture industry by his dad - who worked at a small furniture shop in Egham - Derek decided to leave school at 16 and begin his work in the upholstery trade.
After starting the company and opening his workshop in Old Windsor, he has since then established himself and Friary Furnishings for over 32 years as a company and as members of The Association of Master Upholsterers. Now home to a wide collection of customers, we include a mixture of new and exisiting customers of over 30 years. We receive approximately 80% of our customers through referals, making Friary Furnishings a very trusted and approved company.
